Mid week table tennis is back in Kinsale Community School on Wednesday the 23rd of September

Secondary School/ 5th / 6th class students between 3.30 and 4.30

2nd/3rd/4th Class between 4.30 and 5.30 Cost 3 euro.

Numbers playing table tennis on the South Coast

South Coast table tennis held two Massively successful events

on the last weekend in January.

90 player took part in the first South Coast Schools League on Friday the 23rd in Ballinspittle community Hall.

 70 players took to the tables in Kinsale community School on Sunday 25th for the South Coast Challenger series.

Well done to all South Coast players who took part in the Munster open 2015, especially Kerry O Mahoney(Kinneigh TTC) on claiming the under 21 title and Nick MacLeod on Finishing 3rd in u11(hopes) at his first National event. 2955695_orig3815338_orig

South Coast Ranking a great Success 

Well done to all the south coast and Kinneigh Player who took part in the recent South Coast Munster ranking in Kinsale.

Well done to Kerry O Mahoney who is now the Munster number 1 in both u18 and senior after a great weekend in Kinsale.

All South coast and Kinneigh Player played great with to many good performances to name. Price winners are pictured below

Munster Ranking competition announced for Kinsale . 

South Coast table tennis will host the first Munster Ranking of the season in St Multose hall Kinsale on the 20th of  September.

World Champ in Kinsale

Conor won Gold in the iwas world Junior games in Stoke to become only the second Irish table tennis players to every win a world championship gold medal. Well done Conor hope to see the medal at training real soon.Pictures of his home coming are on the Southcoasttt twitter feed now.

Bronze for Kerry at the Six Nations

Kerry O Mahoney(Kinneigh TTC) finished as the top Irish Player at the recent Six Nations Senior Schools International in Cardiff. Kerry secured a bronze medal for team Ireland in the singles  by beating  the Scottish number 3 in her group and the number two seed from England in the quarter finals before losing a close match to the Welsh number one in the semi final.

made it into the irish Squad traveling to the  Junior world  para Championships In August

Great day at the Kinneigh challenger for South coast and Kinneigh players saw South coast’s William Jefferys win the top prizes by winning the Premier division from Kinneigh’s Liam Proudford in second with Ballincollig’s Ciaran O Donoghue and Leesides Adam Buckley finishing 3dr and 4th in the top division.

Daniel Kennedy was runner up in Division 2 and Tom Good and Alec reached the semi finals. In Division 3 Paul O Riordan won 5 out of 7 matches playing in his first competition and finished 3rd in his section.

In Division 4 Sam Bailey Kinneigh was first and Micheal O Riordan South coast  was runner up.

Big thanks to Kinneigh’s U18s, Kerry O Manhoney, Shelly Tobin and Brian Kelleher for helping run the Divisions.

Well done all.
